Thursday, April 29th, 2010 at 12:30 am

The Tenth Annual Kulov’s Tea Festival will be held at Royal/T in Culver City this Saturay and Sunday May 1 & 2, 2010. Come and introduce your family to new tea experiences through workshops and tea ceremonies, enjoy the delectable World High-Tea Service at the Royal/T Café, especially created for the tea festival, or select some unique teas and gifts for the upcoming Mother’s Day Holiday.

Cultural performances will include contemporary Indian dance by Sheetal Ghandi, whose movement, complex rhythmic structures, theatricality and live singing crafts a virtuosic and evocative physical/vocal vocabulary. British performer and classically-trained clown Catherine Allison entertains with her chaotic cake-making character Madam Chocolat who attempts to have proper British Tea amidst cheeky pranks, pantomime, and slapstick comedy.
