Humanitarian and acclaimed co-author of “Three Cups of Tea” Greg Mortensen will be speaking at LMU’s Gersten Pavilion on Tuesday February 2nd at 7:15pm. Mortensen’s latest book, “Stones Into Schools” is about his work in Pakistan and Afghanistan. He is the co-founder of the nonprofit Central Asia Institute and founder of the nonprofit Pennies for Peace. “Three Cups of Tea” is mandatory reading for all military leaders and diplomatic staff serving in Afghanistan.
