Sunday, March 7th, from 3pm until 4:30pm, there will be a One LA Assembly on public education and the transition from elementary to middle school, held at Temple Isaiah, 10345 West Pico Blvd., LA 90064. LAUSD Superintendent Ramon Cortines is slated to appear, along with LAUSD Board members Steve Zimmer and Nury Martinez, LAUSD Local District 3 Superintendent Michelle King, and LA City Councilman Paul Koretz.
