Scientists at NASA have produced a video depicting the recent rise in global temperatures over the last 130 years in a pattern of seasonal temperature changes and momentary spikes, with temperatures peaking in recent years. Nine of the 10 warmest years on record occurred since 2000. The average temperature globally in 2011 was 0.92 degrees F warmer than temperatures in the mid-20th century.
