Abortion law: Overturn by US Supreme Court would have immediate effect, says law professor | DW News thumbnail

The right to legal abortion across all 50 states is one of the most contentious issues in U.S. politics. Since the 1973 Roe V. Wade ruling, this right has been protected by law. It appears that this right could soon be removed. Politico has received a draft of Judge Alito’s majority decision. It is the end of Roe Vs Wade as it stands. The supreme court chief judge has confirmed that the document is authentic and said it is not a final draft. The leakage has been investigated. The leak’s results are shocking.
