The GOP implosion in the House marks the first failed speaker vote in a century. After the MAGA fringe stopped McCarthy’s bid, he lost three of his most bruising speaker votes. After McCarthy’s humiliating defeat on Day 1, the new Congress, the GOP is now considering McCarthy alternatives. James Carville, a Democratic strategist joins Ari Melber from MSNBC on “The Beat”, claiming that the GOP civil war was “political suicide” and adding that he doesn’t think they care !”
