Ethereum has been one the top performing altcoins over the past 7 days. It has risen by more than 18% over the past week and has been one the top gainers among the top 10 altcoins. Let’s take a look at the Ethereum charts to see the key levels for support and resistance.
First, the Ethereum One Hour chart shows that it has formed an ascending wedge. A rising wedge is traditionally a bearish pattern. A break down could lead to $1980.. There will be many levels of support prior to that. The 20 moving average for the period is the immediate support. If it breaks below, we will be able to see the 50 moving average. A further breakdown could take us down to the 200 periodic moving average.
The Ethereum monthly chart shows that we have formed a double bottom and set a price target $2190.. It was reached a few months ago. We have since fallen below it and will likely go lower.
