When the new session of Congress gavels in next week, dozens of lawmakers won’t be returning to the chamber. Rodney Davis, a Republican, is one of them. After representing Illinois for the past ten year, he is now leaving to run against a Trump-backed candidate. Rep. Davis met Lisa Desjardins for a discussion about politics and the Republican Party.
