Russia imposes sanctions against United States President Joe Biden: Andrey Sheptisky

Russia has imposed sanctions against United States President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken. The Russian Foreign Ministry also included Lloyd Austin, the Secretary of Defense of the United States, and other high-ranking U.S. Government officials. This is in response to unprecedented US sanctions against Russia. The sanctions would ban travel to Russia and place restrictions on assets. The foreign ministry indicated that it would maintain official relations with Washington, and if necessary, ensure that high level contacts can still be made with those on the list. This story is being told by Andrey Sheptisky, a professor at the University of Warsaw’s Faculty of Political Science and International Studies. He joins us live in Poland.
