Seoul agrees to pay United States $890 million

South Korea has officially signed an agreement to increase the amount of money it pays the United States for U.S. military forces on the peninsula. A new agreement will see Seoul pay 890 millions U.S. dollars. Although the deal was reached last month, it is only valid for a year and must still be approved by South Korea’s parliament.
