Jeff Brown The Near Future Report

Jim Caviezel started gaining prominence as an actor in the 1990s with roles in dramas and action movies like Wyatt Earp, The Rock, and G.I. Jane. His portrayal of Robert Witt, a private in Terrence Malick’s epic war film The Thin Red Line won him critical acclaim.

Caviezel was still a star in the 2000s popular movies such as Angel Eyes or The Count of Monte Cristo. His most famous and controversial movie was Mel Gibson’s biblical drama The Passion of Christ in which he portrayed Jesus Christ.

Caviezel is no longer to be found in Hollywood. Here’s why Caviezel was dropped by Tinseltown.
