Wildfires ravage west coast of the United States | DW News
America’s West is on fire with wildfires ravaging 13 states, spewing massive amounts of smoke and ash that’s adversely affecting air quality as far away as New York City.
Oregon is home to the largest wildfire currently in existence. The Bootleg Fire has already decimated an area that is larger than Los Angeles.
Experts believe that climate change is responsible for the excessive heat and drought in the United States. It’s also the reason mega fires are more common.
